Hart was born on April 22, 1993 and she is my first cattledog. She also is the first of my dogs to have a middle name,,,(they all have one now). She did have points towards her championship, but as I had decided I would NOT be breeding her, I spayed her and we started to concentrate on obedience.
One of the proudest moments of my life was when we finished our CD (Companion Dog title) and were 3rd in our class! AND we beat out all the "usual" obedience-type dogs too! Wow, what a moment for us!
Hart now resides with her dad, Tom, and together they love to hike. This is a dog that shows true Cattledog spirit and stamina; at 11 years+ she's still hiking 5-15 miles a week and is as silly and wiggly as when I got her at six months. Tom admits that he has a beautifully trained dog. She and I worked hard together to achieve that!
Having Hart taught me a lot about the joys of having a well-trained dog. I love her dearly. And she's a nut to boot!
